Summary
This was a 75,000 sqft complete interior demolition project completed for SAP. The GB Group provided a fully integrated demolition and disposal service for this project. With over 20 staff on the project each shift, the team worked closely with our Transport and Disposal Team to move and handle all material in an organized work flow. The GB Group introduced systems to deal with the access challenges and site coordination to get the waste material out, and loaded into bins. The entire project was completed on night shift, to work with the project timelines and logistics. In total over 1700 man hours and 27 bins were allocated to this project.
The Challenge
Difficult site access, congested work areas, and a short project timeline. The challenge was to get in, work quickly, safely and with quality.

The team provided a comprehensive scheduling plan to complete all work on night shift, coordinated all trucking on specific timelines and had a larger labor force of 20 staff (per shift) to hit timelines. This allowed the total project to more efficient and safe.

Summary
This was a complex 50,000 sqft interior demolition project for Holt Renfrew. This project required a daily team of over 35 staff to complete the scope. The project was completed on night shift to accommodate other trade schedules. The GB Team completed the work in protected areas that limited the noise, waste, and dust from the rest of the store. This technique protected the expensive products and environment. In total over 3075 man hours were utilized on this project with over 19 40 Yard Bins turned.
The Challenge
The work was required to be carried out with minimal impact to the environment, and to eliminate noise, dust and general waste at the location. The project was also located in a public areas with pedestrian access and visibility.

The GB Team was able to provide professional demolition services in a congested and public work environment. With a detailed work plan, and interior disposal, the GB Team was able to complete the demolition while not damaging any in store items or shopping experience.

Summary
This was a high profile, 16 story high rise project in Burnaby that the GB Team worked safely and efficiently on. The Metro Tower was a full interior demolition of over 160,000 sqft. Our team was needed to work on multiple floors at the same time, requiring complex workforce planning and scheduling to accommodate. The GB Group had over 20 staff working on site per shift to achieve milestone targets. The project was completed on time and on budget, with no safety incidents. The GB Group utilized its integrated business model to control workflow, logistics and safety. In total the GB Team put in over 1150 man hours, and turned 32 bins.

This project required our team to work on multiple levels, with other subtrade partners, making timeline and workforce planning critical.

Summary
This project had a significant amount of challenges that needed to be addressed and handled correctly. A great example of the capacity and turnkey solution that the GB Group provides. The Ormidale Development was a complex structural and interior demolition project that also included hazardous material and abatement. The project started as a structural demolition where the GB Group was tasked with keeping the face of the original building, while removing the remaining 6 floors. In a high traffic public location, all work tasks were required to be completed with the least amount of public disturbance. The structural demolition was completed by a trained group of operators and a fleet of specialized equipment. In total there were 120,000 sqft that was demolished. The GB Group had a team of over 40 staff on site at all times. With heavy equipment assets, transport support, disposal bins and demolition crew, the GB Group provided a total solution. In total over 6778 man hours were put in and over 95 bins were turned.
The Challenge
This project required skilled expertise in multiple areas such as structural demolition, interior demolition and hazard abatement. Resource and safety planning was required to get the job done on time and on budget.

Summary
The Bay was a complex construction project that was large in scale, and short in timeline for completion. In total the GB Group completed interior demolition for over 650,000 sqft. This size required a team of over 80 staff on site per day at certain durations. Due to the size of the project a significant amount of material was required to be removed from the site, creating a custom workflow process of lean production for the highest efficiency for material handling. In total the GB Team was on site for just under 6 months. Completing over 100,000 sqft per month required over 15200 man hours and 267 bins.

This was a high profile location with a challenging work environment that limited our regular work flow and dust/noise levels.
The GB Difference
This particular project required a significant amount of bin delivery and disposal. The amount of material that needed to be removed from the site and disposed was significant. This required the communication between the demolition team and disposals teams was constant and accurate. This would not have been possible if it was two different entities, however since the GB group has its own internal disposal company the project was a success.
